In this topic driven lesson I take the tune Stella by Starlight and break it down into 5 positions, including both voicing and lines. I have found this method of practicing incredibly helpful for gaining fretboard knowledge and at this stage in my guitar playing life, have equal comfort in any position on any chord or scale. I owe this ability to this kind of practicing. I have notated every chord and line and have made the point of utilizing some of the most common dominant chord scale language including mixolydian, pentatonics, diminished, the altered scale, harmonic minor, lydianb7 and augmented. Enjoy the lesson and thanks!
