Barry Greene Video Lessons

Hi Barry:

It occurred to me that it would be REALLY amazing to have sound files (mp3s say) of the loops that you create to demonstrate comping and stuff. I realize its a lot to ask, but if each lesson came with a backing track to practice with, that would be enormously helpful The other thing is, I find it really helpful when you mention the specific Drum Genius track you are using. Could that become routine? Thanks! -Josh

I can relate to Barry on this one. To market his site, it's important that the product that he puts out meets a certain standard, once things get into the ether that are not meant for release, it impacts his brand. His backing tracks are incredible in my opinion, but that's because he's a pro. However, they are "off the cuff" with no planning or preparation.

I was advocating Barry's site on another forum, and I once linked a youtube video that someone posted of him that was awesome, but Barry quickly responded to the thread with "here's a better one" and linked one of his "bar next door" videos. So even though I liked the one I referenced, I'm guessing Barry felt that there were better performances to showcase his talents and market his brand.
