You always talk about different progression sounding "gospel". I really like that sound and was wondering if you could lay out the elements of what makes something "gospel sounding".
P.S. - I'm hoping you don't make me go to church (I was there on Easter and Christmas Eve)
Chord progressions that feature mainly triads very often with 3rds and 5ths in this bass. The feel also has a lot to do with it but for me it’s the sound of the voice leading from chord to chord. G G/B C C#o7 G/D D#o7 E- for instance.
