Barry Greene Video Lessons

Is there a way to work on swing feel with our lines, I've seen many people on youtube try and explain it ....I'm starting to realize..Rhythm is King and my lines have no swing

Like master Barry said, transcribing, memorizing and playing along with your favorite solos! Also, I find useful to study the All The Things You Are lesson and playing along with Barry. A lot of syncopation and groove.

If you want easy solos to start transcribing I suggest Ad Lib Blues by Charlie Christian. There's a Transcription book by Stan Ayeroff with that tune and many others solos. Also, Solid by Grant Green is a very good solo with cool lines in it.
