I've been a member for six weeks and just got around to learning a tune with the pdf (You'd Be So Nice ...). The first exercise is the beginning 8 bars of the tune. The notes are correct, but the tab is whacked. In the last 4 bars, 7 of the 22 notes are incorrectly notated. Hard to believe Barry notated it; it's nothing like the way he played it.
Is this normal?
I do all of those myself, it’s a tremendous amount of work and occasionally I make a mistake. I’ll take a look at the spot that you’ve just pointed out and will fix it immediately. If you find any other things just let me know. Sorry for the errors.
Barry
Fixed. Thanks again. I have gotten much better at the tab over the years, the newer ones should be perfect but let me know if you find others.
Thanks for the quick response, Barry. Is there a better place to report discrepancies or should I just throw them in this, or a new, thread? Also, are you interested in typos and minor errors? For example, I was looking at your latest Blues Essentials and the last chord in Example 2 shows an Ab triad over Bb.
That is the correct chord and yes you can contact me here.
I probably should have notated it as f-7/Bb. I’ll fix that later today. Thanks again.
