Hi,
I hope everyone's okay.
I'm new to Barry's site.
I've been playing a lot of gypsy and I'm a beginner level plus ^^
I've been following Barry's youtube videos for the past year and I fell in love with his teaching style and his exceptional game.
Today I'm delighted to discover the many videos and all the material available for learning and training. That's all there is to it
Simply a dream! Everything is clear, limpid and the philosophy behind this teaching is magnificent. I was delighted to discover also the forum that is filled with super threads that I read about every day with great reviews.
Also I discover the songs on the facebook group that are fabulous. Your posts inspire me enormously and push me to practice and have fun to discover new themes.
I would have liked to ask a question to the community and to barry.
I see that sometimes Barry uses down strokes on string transitions (technique also used in gypsy) do you know if there's a moment to stop going back and forth when you change strings and use this technique?
Thanks again for your work Barry, it's a great honor to be able to listen and learn your teaching and thank you to the community for sharing of knowledge and your creations.
Take care of yourself and hear you soon
p.s: excuse my english which is far from good ^^
Alex
