Wonder if there would be a way to slow down backing tracks to be able to work through rapid changes of quick temped tunes. On the bottom of the track player, there are adjustments for tempo: 50%, 125%, 150%...half speed is too slow, even on uptempo tunes like the great lesson on Twisted Blues with the puck, chromatic iiVs.

For learning purposes, a 90%, 80%, 70% kind of adjustability would enable an knucklehead like me to work up to full speed. Not sure what it takes to add this kind of feature, but I believe that it would be well appreciated. Thanks.

I’m sorry, the backing tracks I’m providing are the same tracks that I play to during the performance section of the lesson. All I do is mute the guitar part before bouncing the track out for the lesson. I believe there are a lot of free or cheap pieces of software that will slow music down for you that are way better than the speed features on the Vimeo player. thanks -barry

Checked with Vimeo and some of their players have a 75% speed adjustment, but not the one that pops up when one clicks on one of your sites files.

Then looked online and found that if one downloads the wav file and use VLC to open the downloaded file, there is a fully variable speed playback. Just another step.
