Barry Greene Video Lessons

I have been trying to develop options to playing over cycles (rhythm changes bridge) and have come up with ii V approach, lydian dominant, and now the information in the newest diminished lesson. I have worked on the Joe Pass cycle exercise without much success yet. Is there any more material on this topic to be covered that might be the basis for a lesson? If this has already been covered, maybe someone could direct me to the lesson or lessons so I can get a little more organized in my thinking about this. thanks.

I have come up with another approach which is to stay in one location on the neck as much as possible and work through the various scale patterns that must be used.. Although I can’t see it on the neck as clearly, I think I can hear guide tone movement which helps me hear the pattern on the fly. I like this approach because, as suggested in other lessons here, it seems gives the lines more continuity than when I go “chord chasing”. Is this some of what the Joe Pass cycle exercise is supposed to teach.
