Hi Barry, it's well-known that Wes often used a soloing approach that started with single lines and moved to a fuller chordal sound. Diminished chords often connected the chordal lines. Can you show us how to construct these lines? It's such a beautiful sound. Keep up the excellent work you're doing.

I touch on this in many lessons but one of the most important ways he did it was using a diminished chord to approach all the drop 2 voicings of a G-7. Essentially D7b9/G-7 Use the melody G,A,Bb,C,D,Eb,F,F# Use a diminished chord on every other note and G-7 on the rest of them.
