I've got a question or request for a topic. It's a trick that I got from Mike Stern and also hear it a lot with Joey DeFrancesco/Paul Bollenback. It is play a pentatonic minor scale in fourth voicing and then alter every note to a triad while the highest note stays the same. I already hear it and understand it partly, but would like to get some more info on that. Example D minor pentatonic
fourth: EAD to FBbD - GCF to AbDbF -ADG to BbEbG - BEA to CFA and DGC to EbAbC
Thnx and best regards from the Netherlands, Joost Zoeteman
