Hi Barry--
I was listening to Jimmy Smith (with Lee Morgan, Kenny Burrell, Lou Donaldson, among others) and they substituted Confirmation changes over a standard and it was so seamless and beautiful. I think having a roadmap to master those changes would make a great lesson.
